If you would like to put your name forward and become an active participant in your child’s education, please find the declaration package linked below. Please fill in the document and send it to Michelle Miranda via email at michelle.miranda@ycdsb.ca.
Successful candidates will hold their elected position for a term of one year and will be expected to attend the monthly meetings.
We as parents can make a difference to our children’s education. Being a member of council provides us with an opportunity to make recommendations to the school, the school board and interact with other parents and staff. No one is singularly responsible for decisions. A representation of parents who reflect the diversity of our school population is needed.
Deadline for submission of nomination forms: Wednesday. September 25, 2024 (at 3:30 pm)
Communications of candidate’s names to the school community: By Friday, September 27 (at 3:30 pm) on the school’s website
Election Day: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7pm in the Cafeteria
First council meeting: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7pm in the Cafeteria
